hile she has no formal dance training, movement and fitness has been a part of her life as a softball player and kenpo karate student. During the pandemic, without a home pole, Mayari trained her flexibility and grew her interest in mat pilates. With an affinity for dark, haunting beats, Mayari has competed in PSO Golden Gate in 2022 and 2023, placing 2nd in her category.

Outside of the studio, she works in the built environment and enjoys fitness, attending to her plants, and relaxing with her cats.
