FRONT DESK MANAGER

The Front Desk Manager is not only the first and last point of contact for our students but also the face of our studio’s welcoming atmosphere. This role involves welcoming our students and guests, checking them in, introducing our programs, classes, and packages, and making them feel comfortable.

The person for this role should be a “people person” who genuinely love interacting with people and initiating friendly conversions. This position reports directly to the studio owner.

Skills:

• Prior experience of front desk and/or customer service positions
• Comfortable with using Google Sheets, Google Doc, Google Drive, social media platforms (mainly IG and FB)
• Familiarity with scheduling softwares or ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized and detailed-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Good at sales-based conversations with potential clients
• Dance/fitness experience or knowledge is a plus
• Spanish is a plus

 Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Arriving at the studio one hour prior to the class start time
• Cleaning the studio and make it ready for classes (we have a checklist for it)
• Checking students in for classes
• Informing current and possible future students about our programs and pricing
• Selling programs, packages, and merchandise
• Assisting instructors as needed during the classes
• Taking photos and creating/sharing social media stories
• Answering and returning to phone calls
• Assisting with simple computer tasks during class time as requested by the studio owner

 Work Hours:

Work hours may vary depending on our class schedule. It is usually 5-8 pm on weekdays and 9 am-2pm on weekends. 

Compensation: $18/hour

Free pole and dance classes:

2 classes/month in exchange for working one day a week

4 classes/month in exchange for working two or more days a week
