Our Story
Hi, I’m Lacin, founder of Magnetic Pole Fit and I’m so happy that you are here.
I opened Magnetic Pole Fit in October 2018 with a vision that was deeply personal to me: to create a space where women could feel strong, confident, empowered, and free through pole and dance.
As an immigrant woman, dancer, and educator, I know how powerful movement can be. It can heal. It can transform. It can reconnect you to parts of yourself that life, pressure, or self-doubt may have pushed aside. I wanted to build a space where women could experience that for themselves.
What started in San Jose grew into a vibrant community and a studio that has now supported thousands of women through pole and dance classes, programs, and movement experiences designed to challenge, uplift, and empower.
Like many businesses, we faced major challenges during COVID. We stayed closed longer than many others, and in 2022, we reopened in our new space with even more purpose and clarity. That chapter strengthened our mission and reminded us exactly why this work matters.
Today, Magnetic Pole Fit continues to grow, and we are so excited to be opening our second location in Charlotte, NC. Bringing MPF to the East Coast is a huge milestone, and it means we get to share the joy, confidence, strength, and community of pole dancing with even more women.
At Magnetic Pole Fit, we believe pole and dance bring together fitness, resilience, confidence, self-expression, and connection in a powerful way. We are here for beginners, for women rebuilding confidence, for women stepping outside their comfort zones, and for every woman ready to discover what she is capable of.
