I don’t have any upper body strength. I don’t have a dance or fitness background. Can I still join pole classes?

Of course!  In fact, you don’t have to have upper body strength. You’ll build your strength in the class over time! Besides, pole dance fitness is not all about the upper body. It’s a whole body workout. You don’t need to have a dance or fitness background. Pole classes are for everyone.

Do I need to be in shape to start pole fitness?

Not at all. Pole dance fitness is for everyone with all shapes, sizes, and fitness abilities. All genders, races, backgrounds, ethnicities, shapes, sizes, and fitness abilities are welcome to our studio!

Do I need to be 18 years old or older to join for the classes?

If you’re under 18 years old, then your parents or legal guardians must come to the studio to sign the waivers.

Do I have to wear heels for the class?

Absolutely not. You can take our classes with socks or barefoot. In fact, we are not offering any heels classes at the moment. However, if you wish to join the classes with your heels, it’s totally fine, too!

What should I wear for the class?

For Gentle Pole and Contemporary Pole classes, we recommend leggings and knee pads.

For off the pole classes, we recommend leggings and to bring your socks with you.

For all the other pole classes including Pole Fit L1/L2/L3 and Low Flow please wear shorts and tank tops/sports bra. You need your skin to expose the pole for grip. The fabric slides off the pole. For Low Flow, you can bring knee pads as well.
